    Günther has been part of the arise team since 2019. With his background in business administration from his banking training and studies, he brings a great deal of knowledge in the areas of financing and business models. Günther is Head of the arise Startup Programme and responsible for the Accelerator and Startup BW Pre-Seed. Since 2019, Günther has advised, mentored and supported over 200 start-ups.

  • Consultant Startup Programmes & Talents

    Nora has been part of the team since 2020 and has a background in both business administration and communication psychology. She is the contact person for cooperations with universities, colleges and research institutions and gives students their first insights into the start-up world. She also supports start-up teams in various coaching topics relating to mindset, leadership and mental health and promotes diversity issues.

  • Consultant Startup Programmes and Talents

    Stefan joined the arise team in May 2023. With experience from commercial training, a master's degree in business development and founding his own company, he has been advising start-ups on product and business model development and sales since 2019. He is also passionate about sustainable innovation and sustainable business models. Stefan is the contact person for requests for start-up coaching, topic-specific workshops and BW-PreSeed support through arise.

    Cooperations and Startups

    Claudio has been part of the Arise team at BadenCampus since April 2022 and works intensively with our startup community and supports the Accelerator. In his master's thesis, which he wrote at BadenCampus, he dealt with cooperation formats between start-ups and corporates. He is therefore at the interface with our corporate partners, is responsible for our matchmaking formats and is passionately committed to successfully bringing start-ups and companies together.

  • Research Analyst - Lead Market Data & Technology.

    Marcella has been part of the arise team at Badencampus since January 2025. As Research Analyst - Lead Market Data & Technology, her focus is on startup scouting, where she further professionalises and expands our processes. She also strengthens the venture labs and university collaborations in Freiburg and the Southern Upper Rhine region. Her aim is to actively shape the innovation centre and drive forward pioneering technologies.
    Marcella has a doctorate in economics and is known for her structured way of working and her clear eye for trends and potential. She finds the balance to her working day in yoga, on her racing bike through the Black Forest or on the MTB trails around Freiburg

    "Annika is responsible for the Arise Ideaboost Accelerator and supports us in the areas of resilience and team. Thanks to her own start-up and her training as a resilience trainer, she is the ideal contact person for this."

  • Working student

    Magdalene has been part of the arise team at Badencampus since August 2024, where she completed her internship and now works for us as a working student. She is currently in the 6th semester of her degree in business psychology and is putting her theoretical knowledge into practice. She is particularly responsible for marketing, where she contributes creative and strategic impulses to increase the visibility of arise and promote interest in the programmes. She also supports the team with other start-up topics.

  • Intern

    Timon has been part of the arise Accelerator team at Badencampus since September 2025. As an intern, he supports us with his academic background in the field of geography of global change, which he is currently specialising in at the University of Freiburg. His focus is on bringing fresh impetus to our work with regard to sustainability, global connections and social transformation processes.

    Through his experience in a Swiss PropTech startup, Timon brings valuable knowledge from the innovation-driven startup world, from agile working methods to practical insights into dynamic markets.

    And because adventure is part of his life, Timon has already travelled to over 20 countries by bike.

  • Intern

    Nadja has been part of the arise team since September 2025. As an intern, she supports us in exciting projects related to start-ups and innovation and brings fresh perspectives from her studies.

    She is currently studying Management in Healthcare (B.A.) and is particularly interested in how innovative ideas and entrepreneurial thinking can shape and change the healthcare sector in the long term. With her curiosity and analytical eye, she will enrich our team in the coming months.

    Nadja also enjoys being active outside of her studies and internship: whether jogging, outdoors in nature or travelling. Exercise and new impressions are simply part of her life.
